Toddler and Silence Just Don't Mix

You'd think after four kids I would know what it means when there is absolute silence with a toddler in the house and it's not nap time.

Today this is what it meant. Seth found a box I didn't even know I had, in a bag downstairs with all my colored pencils in it. There was one purple marker.
Pretty sure it made it in his mouth too as his tongue is slightly purple. Also pretty sure he tried coloring his pants as he kept looking at them like he was trying to find his art work but they are black so it's all good :)

I LOVE that you took a picture. Nothing like counting to ten when you are on your way to get a camera--right?

ROFLMBO!!! DId you ever see pink Grace? She took her shirt off and colored her body with a pink hilighter and pulled her pants down and did her legs too. That took a week to get all the way off of her. Gotta love little ones and markers!

What a cute boy under all that purple! When I saw the title of this post on my blog sidebar, I was really afraid to look, but I just had to. Had to see what further adventures in motherhood you'd experienced that I could relate to. Sure enough.

How is it they find the ONE marker? AMAZING!

I'm so glad it's not just my boys that have done this! :)
